Start with the headcount.
Count everyone, including the bride. The 40ft Jeanneau yacht accommodates up to 12 guests. The 35ft Drift Out Tiki boat accommodates up to 22. A group of 13–22 needs the Tiki boat to stay together on one charter.
For a smaller group, choose by the experience you want. The Jeanneau has a cushioned bow lounge, teak deck, A/C cabin, and freshwater bathroom with a shower. The Tiki offers a shaded social layout, a marine bathroom, and coolers with ice. Both are private and BYOB.
Choose around the bride.
Ask her to choose two priorities: lounge time, music with the whole group, swimming, or sunset. Match those to your headcount and budget before collecting everyone’s share. Swimming depends on the route and conditions; sunset timing must be confirmed for your date. Decide together before booking other weekend activities.
What does a boat day cost?
A 3-hour Jeanneau charter has a published base rate of $2,700 for up to 12 guests. The Tiki starts at $1,450 for 2 hours or $2,050 for 3 hours, covering the first 12 guests. Each additional Tiki guest adds $100, up to 22 guests total. Smaller groups still pay the base rate.

Base estimates only. Gratuity, applicable taxes or payment fees, and extra destination or fuel charges are not included. Oasis confirms your full quote and charter terms before booking. Per-person amounts are rounded to the nearest cent.
If the group is covering the bride’s share, divide the total by the number of paying guests. For example, a $2,700 Jeanneau charter shared by 11 paying guests is about $245.45 each, before extra charges. Keep a separate budget for transportation, food, drinks, and any decorations approved by Oasis. Agree on who is paying the bride’s share and use the confirmed full quote before collecting money; the calculator shows base charter costs only.
Calculate your group’s base costConfirm the departure before booking a ride.
- 40ft Jeanneau yacht
- Standard departure: Hampton Bays, NY. Sag Harbor pickup is available by arrangement, with an additional destination surcharge.
- 35ft Drift Out Tiki boat
- Departures: East Quogue or Hampton Bays, NY. Home port: Aldrich Boat Yard in East Quogue.
- Staying in Montauk?
- Neither boat departs from Montauk. Arrange transportation to the confirmed departure point.
Tell Oasis where your group is staying and which pickup you prefer. Confirm the exact meeting point, arrival time, and return arrangements before reserving transportation. Summer traffic can change travel times, so check your route for the date and time of your charter.
Keep the plan comfortably simple.
The Tiki’s 2-hour option suits a shorter outing. A 3-hour charter gives you more time to discuss a mix of cruising and a stop when conditions allow. The Jeanneau also has published 4-, 5-, and 6-hour options; its 2-hour rate is specifically for a sunset cruise.
For a celebration built around swimming, tell Oasis before choosing your duration. Route, travel time, weather, and the captain’s assessment determine what is possible. A destination cruise and a local swim-focused charter can use the same number of hours very differently.
A simple weekend outline
Plan a light meal before boarding, the charter as the main afternoon event, and time to return to your accommodation before dinner. Confirm departure and return times before making reservations. This is a planning suggestion, not a fixed charter itinerary.
A Hamptons bachelorette party itinerary.
Keep one main activity at the center of each day. These are sample plans you can adapt after Oasis confirms your charter time, departure point, and route.
Make room for everyone to get there.
Check in, gather the group, and plan an easy dinner. Use the evening to confirm the headcount, collect shared expenses, and prepare food and drinks for the boat. Follow your accommodation’s rules for visitors, decorations, and noise.
Choose daytime or sunset.
For a daytime charter, plan breakfast or an early lunch, your confirmed transfer to the dock, and time on the water. Leave a comfortable gap after the scheduled return before dinner. If sunset is the priority, shift the boat later and plan the meal around the confirmed return time.
Keep the last morning flexible.
Plan breakfast, packing, and travel home around your checkout time. An unhurried final morning gives everyone room to recover from a full weekend and depart at different times.
Daytime cruise or sunset charter?
Discuss a daytime trip if swimming and float time are priorities, subject to the captain’s assessment. For sunset, ask Oasis for a departure matched to your actual date. The Jeanneau’s published 2-hour option is a sunset charter; the Tiki has 2- and 3-hour options, with timing subject to availability.
Book the boat and departure arrangements before locking in tight restaurant or activity reservations. The charters described here do not include accommodation, meals ashore, or ground transportation.
What should you bring?
- Food and drinks your group enjoys. Both boats are BYOB.
- Swimwear, towels, sun protection, and an extra layer for the ride back.
- A downloaded playlist and a charged phone for music and photographs.
- Easy-to-serve snacks and drink containers appropriate for your boat. The Tiki requires non-glass drink containers.
- Only decorations and catering arrangements cleared with Oasis in advance.
The Jeanneau has two refrigerators and a cooler; the Tiki has coolers with ice. The Jeanneau is shoes-off: avoid spray sunscreen, self-tanner, glitter, confetti, and wet denim that can mark upholstery. Check each boat’s details before packing.
Send the details. Get a full quote.
Have your preferred date, guest count, boat, departure preference, and ideal time ready. If your dates are flexible, share an alternative. Mention whether swimming, sunset, or a destination is the priority.
Oasis confirms availability, the complete price, and the paperwork and payment needed to reserve. Request the written deposit, cancellation, and weather terms for your boat before paying. An inquiry or calculator estimate does not reserve a date.
Weather decisions depend on operating conditions and the captain’s assessment. A cloudy forecast alone does not mean the trip is cancelled. Discuss the applicable weather terms directly with Oasis.
